Before we talk about the function, let’s discuss the look and feel first. The iClever 6-port charger is surrounded by smooth black plastic. The power cable is very nice in quality, none of that cheap thin 99cent store cable. Physically, everything is great, but the 6 ports are a bit too close together in my opinion. It could be spaced out a tiny bit more to give room for the larger usb cables.
Once I plugged this bad boy up, and to all of my devices you see in the picture (sorry I couldn’t find anything else at the moment, but that Fitbit there is a sneak peek at my future review!) they all charged rather quickly. I got almost 1 percent per minute on my iphone 6, which is extremely fast compared to charging my phone via usb to my computer. I have never owned anything with more than 3 usb ports before, so it’s really useful to be able to charge multiple things at the same time without having to switch out cables. When you plug in the 6-port charger, there is a green LED that indicates that it is turned on and ready to charge.
I can see this device perfect in many applications, especially for phone repair locations or web developers who use many devices at once. Even if you don’t do any of that, the 6-port charger can really help you reduce clutter. So if you have a couple of devices that need to be charged, I highly recommend the iClever 6-port USB charger.
